Turmeric and Pork Herbal Soup

When my husband feels down I make him soup. The last time I made a totally new creation with stuff I had in my kitchen. I didn't go to the grocery store and prep for this meal. It turned out amazing and has many nutritional benefits! This will be a lasting recipe in our family.

Here are the ingredients:

Pork
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Carrots
3 cloves of garlic
Chopped tomatoes
Spinach
Fresh collard leaves
Turmeric
Sea Salt
Pepper
Rosemary
Basil

I threw all the ingredients together, brought the soup to boiling and then let it simmer for 20 minutes. This makes a quick, easy, hearty and nutritional meal.

You can also add essential oils, like Lemon, Pepper, Basil or Oregano oil, for added health benefits. Oregano is great to add if you have a cold or flu.

Benefits of Herbs

Rosemary- good source of iron, calcium and vitamin B6
Basil- loaded with vitamins, minerals; also acts as an anti inflammatory
Turmeric- has been widely used in traditional medicine for centuries; also has been known to help with
for arthritis, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, intestinal gas, stomach bloating, loss of appetite, jaundice, liver problems and gallbladder disorders.
Oregano oil- "the antibiotic of herbs"; is known to kill bad bacteria in the body

I hope you enjoy!
